Terms of Service

1. Services
Entrance Exam Tutors provides one-to-one private tutoring services for pupils preparing for UK independent school entrance examinations at 7+, 11+, 13+, and 16+ levels. Services are provided under the package selected at the time of booking. All tutoring sessions are delivered online via video call unless an in-person arrangement has been explicitly agreed in writing.
2. Booking and payment
Tutoring packages are invoiced monthly or as otherwise agreed. Invoices are due within 7 days of issue. We reserve the right to pause or terminate services where payment is more than 14 days overdue. All prices are quoted in GBP and inclusive of any applicable VAT where stated. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full. Sessions cancelled with 24 hours' notice or more will be rescheduled at no charge. We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule cancelled sessions within the same billing period. Entrance Exam Tutors reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in the event of tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, no charge will be made.
4. Refunds
If you wish to discontinue services, please provide at least 7 days' written notice. Fees already paid for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. Initial diagnostic assessments and materials fees are non-refundable once delivered. We do not guarantee exam outcomes or school offers; refunds will not be issued on the basis of examination results.
5. Conduct
We expect all pupils and parents to engage respectfully with our tutors. We reserve the right to terminate services without refund in cases of abusive or inappropriate conduct towards our staff.
6. Intellectual property
All materials, mock papers, resources, and content provided by Entrance Exam Tutors remain the intellectual property of Entrance Exam Tutors. They are licensed for personal use by the enrolled pupil only and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
Entrance Exam Tutors will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, including (without limitation) a pupil not receiving an offer from a target school. Our liability is limited to the total fees paid in the 3 months prior to any claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
