What the test involves
Each paper is multiple-choice — thirty questions at 10+ and 11+, twenty-four at 9+ — and takes twenty to thirty minutes. Your child can move backwards and forwards through it and change any answer before they finish.
There is no time limit and no clock on the screen. We do record how long each question takes, because a child who answers correctly in ten seconds and a child who gets there in four minutes are in quite different positions before an exam that is timed.
The mark comes up as soon as they finish. You see every question with the answer they chose, the right one, and how it is worked out, along with a breakdown of which topics went well and which did not. We email you the same link so you can read it properly later, and that is the only thing the email address is used for. Nothing to pay, and no account to create.
