We sat these exams,

Why we exist
Most families judge a school from the outside
Our own parents did not go to private school. They knew what the Perse looked like from the outside, not what it was actually like inside, and not what the assessment really asked of a child.

Entrance Exam Tutors exists to close that gap. We put current, first-hand knowledge of the entrance process in front of parents with no connection into these schools, so a place goes to the child who was properly prepared rather than the one whose family happened to know how it worked.

Each target school has its own style and expectations. We build programmes around those specific demands rather than a one-size-fits-all framework.
Progress should be visible
Parents deserve to know exactly where their child stands. Mocks are marked against the target school's own paper and the scores shared with you, including when they are not where they need to be.
The process should feel manageable
Admissions is stressful enough. A structured plan removes the guesswork and gives families a clear path through it.

What being at the school gives us
The point is not that our tutors are young. It is that they were inside the school your child is applying to, recently enough for what they know to still be true.
We sat the assessment, did the interview and the group activity, and went through the registration and offer process ourselves. That means the format, the deadlines and what changed this cycle rather than what a guide described three cycles ago.
Seven years inside a school teaches you what it actually prioritises and the sort of pupil it is looking for, which is rarely what the prospectus says. That shapes how we prepare a child for the interview and the group task, where the paper alone tells you nothing.
Being closer to it ourselves, we can tell the difference between what a child genuinely needs to understand and what an adult assumes they should, and put it in words that land. When it gets hard we can draw on having sat the same exam, which is worth more to a nervous eleven-year-old than any amount of encouragement in the abstract.
