Our Method
How We Prepare Students
Diagnostic Assessment
We begin with an initial assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and priority areas — tailored to Sevenoaks's specific entrance requirements.
Weekly Structured Learning Plan
Each student receives a personalised plan aligned with Sevenoaks's entrance requirements. Tutors create bespoke lesson content and targeted homework.
Targeted Exam Practice & Mocks
Students work through hand-crafted exam papers with unlimited online practice tests that replicate the real assessment format, tracking performance throughout.
Interview & Confidence Coaching
Beyond academic preparation, we prepare students for interviews and assessments, building confidence, clarity of expression, and readiness for assessment day.

Many families use online platforms for extra practice. These work best when paired with expert tutoring. Our role is to identify the root cause of mistakes, teach the underlying method, provide written feedback, and guide parents through the entrance process.
“The preparation was fantastic — school-specific and thorough. Our daughter's tutor understood exactly what Sevenoaks was looking for and made sure she was completely ready.”

Why us
Our background at Sevenoaks School
Sevenoaks is one of the few UK schools offering the International Baccalaureate rather than A-Levels — a genuinely distinctive choice that our tutors understand from personal experience of the school's culture and expectations.
The 11+ process at Sevenoaks has two stages — an ISEB pre-test followed by written papers and a group discussion. We prepare students for all three elements: reasoning fluency, written English and Maths, and confident group participation.
Planning ahead
Suggested Timeline — 11+ / 13+ Entry
Register with Sevenoaks and begin building core subject foundations. Note the school offers the IB Diploma rather than A-Levels — a distinctive pathway worth researching thoroughly early on.
Sit the ISEB Common Pre-Test — Maths, English, VR, NVR, all online adaptive. Strong performance shortlists candidates for the January written papers and group discussion.
Sit Maths and English written papers (~1 hour each) and participate in a 40-minute group discussion. Preparation covers both academic performance and collaborative group participation.
13+ candidates sit English, Maths, and Verbal Reasoning written papers plus a 40-minute group discussion. School reference is also considered as part of the overall assessment.
