Our Method
How We Prepare Students
Diagnostic Assessment
We begin with an initial assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and priority areas — tailored to Eton's specific entrance requirements.
Weekly Structured Learning Plan
Each student receives a personalised plan aligned with Eton's entrance requirements. Tutors create bespoke lesson content and targeted homework.
Targeted Exam Practice & Mocks
Students work through hand-crafted exam papers with unlimited online practice tests that replicate the real assessment format, tracking performance throughout.
Interview & Confidence Coaching
Beyond academic preparation, we prepare students for interviews and assessments, building confidence, clarity of expression, and readiness for assessment day.

Many families use online platforms for extra practice. These work best when paired with expert tutoring. Our role is to identify the root cause of mistakes, teach the underlying method, provide written feedback, and guide parents through the entrance process.
“Richard provided outstanding support preparing our son for the 13+ entrance process. He was highly organised, knowledgeable about the Eton requirements, and kept us on track throughout. Our son felt completely prepared and confident on assessment day.”

Why us
Our background at Eton College
Our lead tutor attended Eton College, gaining first-hand experience of the school's academic culture, interview process, and what examiners look for at both pre-test and King's Scholarship stage.
All of our Eton tutors are Eton alumni — they understand the school's emphasis on breadth, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to perform under pressure. This insight shapes every session we deliver.
Planning ahead
Suggested Timeline — 13+ Entry
Register your son with Eton by 31 August — this is a hard, non-negotiable deadline. Begin introducing core CE subjects and building strong academic foundations.
Sit the ISEB Common Pre-Test: Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English, and Maths — all online and adaptive. This is the primary selection hurdle. A conditional place is offered based on pre-test performance and school report.
Full Common Entrance preparation across all core subjects. King's Scholarship candidates begin extended essay and problem-solving work from early Year 7. Apply for KS by 5 January of Year 8.
King's Scholarship candidates sit compulsory papers (English A & B, Maths A, Science, General I) plus 3 optional papers. CE candidates confirm their place through strong subject performance.
